Reaching Out to the Ancestors!

Are you reaching out to those who have walked this Earth before you? Do you know the power and knowledge that lies within reaching out to the ancestors known and unknown who has passed on? Today, we are going to give acknowledgement and light to our family in the spiritual world. They are the ancestors who are guiding us and helping us day by day with issues we face on this physical realm.

I always acknowledge my ancestors when doing altar practices, but I had to really seek their voice to hear the guidance that they provide. When doing spiritual work, we must give respect to all of the Divine Ones. We are all connected in this work, so it will be offensive not acknowledge those who have walked this walk before you. Our ancestors hold insight and power which can be a great benefit with your rituals.

I personally do not have an altar dedicated to my ancestors because the energy of the Divine Ones is ONE. I feel it’s important to keep these energies together because it makes my altar space more powerful as well as my rituals. I can feel their presence all around me and it makes me feel secure knowing they are there.

Some people may argue that all ancestors are not good and should not be contacted. No one is perfect in this world. We all have good and bad qualities about ourselves. However, if you ask for those who are righteous, pure, and good, these are the only spirits that will bless you with their presence.

Before reaching out to deities to ask for their strengths and attributes to help you in your request, seek your ancestors first. They may have the answers you are looking for. They know you better than any deity you are calling out to because their blood flows through your veins. Reach out to them and hear what they have to say. You may discover you already possess the power you seek!
