Self Love

Throughout our daily routine of everyday life whether we know it our not we are constantly helping others. It could be a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen for venting or giving loving honest advice. These may seem like small things but realistically, energy is being absorbed and expelled. Remember when taking on other's issues, we are taking on their problems as well as soaking up negative energy. So when you feel low, drained or exhausted, understand that your vessel (body) is sending signals that it's time to recharge. Meditation is a great way to recharge, 30 mins to an hour will definitely help or you could just listen to music, take a nice stroll through nature (preferable barefoot) or just whatever eases your mind and helps you to escape from the illusions of the world. It definitely feels rewarding when helping others, but how can we fill others if our cup is empty? Always remember you MUST take care of yourself in order to really be able to help your fellow brothers and sisters.
