Most spiritualist want to know what happens when you break a promise to Santa Muerte? Everyone hears of her great works yet
most people are afraid to work with her. Stories of her killing family members or making something fatal happen to you for breaking a promise has shaken up many. Hopefully, I will be able to shed some light on this situation, to stop all confusion. Santa Muerte is the feminine version of God the Creator. Nothing she does is to hurt you. She is not an evil deity or a demon. She is the goddess of the Underworld.
The first couple of times you come to Santa Muerte you make her an offering and depending on what you're asking for that offering should be enough. However, as you start to work with her and confide in her your circumstances her mission is to improve your life. More than likely after you make your request and the time has come for you to make a sacrifice, and you will know because she will ask you. It is time to let go of something that means the world to you but no longer serves you as a person.
She makes you reflect on the very thing you're asking for and make you question why you are in need in the first place. So naturally you're going to make a promise that reflects you moving toward that goal. She just like God is a reflection of you.If you break your promise you will be hurting yourself in the long run due to the universal law of cause and effect.
So when making a promise to her you are spiritually and mentally making a promise to yourself to do better and be better. The only punishment that will come upon you is the punishment you put upon yourself.
