Knowing When To Let Go.

We deal with different people and different situations every day of our lives and as children of the Creator, we really strive to be a word of inspiration and motivation to others. If we see someone struggling, we want to pick them up and help them the best way we can. We offer words of encouragement and offer them strength so that they are able to move forward in their lives, but what do you do when your kindness and generosity is not appreciated?

Sometimes we allow people to verbally abuse us or mentally drain us because we know they are going through a lot, but this behavior is unacceptable. No one regardless to what they are going through in life has the right to take away your peace of mind. You are not responsible for that person’s wellbeing nor do you control their happiness. There are certain things in life that a person must handle on their own and as much as we would love to help them, sometimes we must step aside.

As natural healers, we feel we can save the world or save an individual from self -destruction, but knowing when to let go will save you time and energy. Say what’s on your mind and let the person know you are here for them, but unfortunately, you can’t help someone who is not willing to help themselves. Pray for them and leave it in God’s hands. If the individual is serious about changing their circumstances, the Creator is always available to lead the way!
