Every day we fight against our flesh. There are things we do from habit that interfere with our daily transformations and things that are just a part of us due to our past experiences. Sometimes change seems impossible, but we must fight to be better individuals. We must continue to try to be better representatives of the Most High. There are many places to start, but where I decided to start my mission was with my thoughts.
We really don’t see how our thoughts, affects the decisions and actions we make in our lives. This is not easily corrected due to all the garbage we have stored up in our minds throughout the history. It’s important that we are aware of who we are as children of God. The Bible is very clear on God’s chosen people, but you must believe in the words of the Creator in order to sit in your proper position and get into the correct mind frame.
Skin color is not important, however you will act like a queen if someone proves to you your family comes from royalty. If you found out you were rich, your attitude would change instantaneously, but why? Knowing your roots helps define who you are. So if colored people understood who we are in Christ, I believe we would represent ourselves differently. We would dress differently and speak differently.
We would be able to see the errors in our ways and not follow the path of our ancestors to destruction by not following the commandments the Most High instructed to us. The commandments are our guidelines to righteousness and living according to our Heavenly Father. Our people have struggled throughout the years due to not keeping our covenant with God and this world has suffered as well, because we didn’t set the example. We are the example to the world on how we are to behave toward each other and how to treat this Earth. Let’s make the decision today to be better examples of who we are!
