Meditation

Meditation is telepathic prayer that requires the stillness and quietness of the mind to allow the energy and communication to flow between us and our Creator. It is a channel that allows us to travel spiritually to seek guidance from the Messiah and receive our instructions from the Most High to complete our mission. Most of us were taught to pray out loud and to pray in groups, but according to the scriptures praying alone is more valued in the eyes of our Creator.

Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prays enter into thy closet, when thou has shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which see in secret shall reward thee openly.

This is your private time your intimate space with the Most High, to connect with him on a deeper level. Your connection is much stronger when you pray alone because you control the energy in your sacred space. Someone else may be going through something and still carrying that negative energy and during prayer all energy must be positive, all thoughts must be pure and good in spirit.

Meditate in a space you feel at peace and complete calmness. I found being around plants and elements of the earth to be very powerful spiritually. Rocks, seashells, a bowl of water or sand are all great resources used to absorb the beautiful essence and presence of our spirit protectors and ancestors.

Some people may want to burn an incense or a light a candle or two but your should only be on the Creator. The color of the candle and it’s meaning has no purpose to our Creator nor our Messiah and need not to be our focus of concentration. Our only focus is communicating to the higher beings of the spirit world, to gain the wisdom needed to survive while on this planet. The knowledge we gain will ultimately save our souls and prepare for the life beyond.

Our people are people of nature, so meditating out in nature feels very natural. We become one with the land and can hear the inner voices of our ancestors speaking to us and guiding us during our times of confusion and pain. Meditation has always been our original form of prayer. Praying out loud and repeating prayers becomes a chant. We don’t need anyone guiding our prayers. I think we know what we want to say on behalf of ourselves in the presence of our Creator, right?!

Meditate on the word of God daily and see how it changes your life. Take time to meditate at least once a day and you will find yourself more organized and more spiritually prepared for your day.

We lose track of time because we don’t take the time to speak to God and ask God what we should be doing with our time and most importantly, what’s our purpose in life? Take time to meditate today and allow the spirit of our Heavenly father fill your soul and change your life!
